I got my first Covid jab today and so far, I haven't suffered any side-effects apart from a slight soreness in my left arm. It has been about 11 hours since I had the jab so side-effects should have started to show by now but you never know. There is a psychological aspect to it because one is expecting to feel ill. That might lead one to either exaggerate or downplay symptoms. As someone who suffers from mild anxiety, if the vaccine side-effects fall within the range of my anxiety symptoms they won't even register. I don't feel anxious every time I feel a light-headed because I know its one of my anxiety symptoms. There is now an anxiety barrier that physical symptoms need to cross before they get flagged as a matter of concern.
