Today, I went for drinks with my supervisor and her colleagues. And, I didn't leave at the first opportunity, which is unusual for me. I was clearly an outsider and maybe I cramped some of the gossip. But, I just wanted to be out longer, and I don't think anyone particularly minded, because they don't seem to be like me. I might have minded if an outsider had chosen to stick around beyond their welcome. Note to self to be nicer to outsiders. But, I really needed a night out. The past few weeks have been mad, and although I didn't really let my hair down and party, it was a good break.
