I am writing the empirical chapter of my PhD thesis which is about a breathtakingly complicated scam. The scam was pure Indian ingenuity and willingness to bend the rules on a colossal scale, but this post is not about the Indian business psyche. I am struggling to not get stuck in the weeds of the scam (miss the weeds for the trees) and it is bloody difficult. So the struggle continues. I finally feel like I am in the zone., equipped with dedication, focus and motivation that I thought I would never find.
