The summer truly arrived today. For the past week or so, it has been quite hot, but today a humid wave swept in. Mumbai is known more for its humidity than its heat and nothing says Mumbai summer more than the feeling of puddles of sweat forming under your clothes. The thing about Indian summers is just when you think it couldn't possibly get hotter, it does. However, the good thing is you won't be subject to any more posts claiming that summer has arrived, withdrawing previous announcements of the arrival of summer, simply because I won't be in India this time next week.
